These Buddha’s stem from Tibetan buddhism which is called Vajrayana–the way of the Diamond. Vajrayana uses tantric meditations to make enlightenment possible while on Earth. Each of these Buddhas represents five Elements, Colors, Sounds, Invocations and parts of the body. These Buddhas were never in human form. They are celestial Buddhas, transcendent beings, who symbolize universal divine principles. Visualizing them during meditation can bring healing of the mind and soul. These Five Empowerments include a chant, visualization and mudra (yoga for the hands) for each of the Dhyani Buddhas. Powerful energy!
